A former guide at the Montreal Biodome and whale watching guide on the St. Lawrence River, he has a natural talent for conveying his knowledge with simplicity and enthusiasm.

A certified navigator, holding the STCW certification, and with over 40,000 nautical miles under her belt as a first mate, she also contributes to the safety and well-being of all guests.
A sailor for over 35 years, Danny has explored the Caribbean, the Atlantic, the East Coast of North America, and the coasts of Western Europe, accumulating extensive experience in offshore sailing. His career includes three Atlantic crossings, one of which was aboard an IMOCA alongside Ronan Le Goff, co-holder of the prestigious Jules Verne Trophy.
A certified sailing instructor since 1988, Danny combines exceptional technical skill with a genuine commitment to service.
Attentive, generous, and with a deeply caring nature, Danny is one of those people whose presence naturally brings calm, confidence, and a sense of ease. His greatest pleasure is seeing guests leave with unforgettable memories and a smile on their face.
When Danny isn’t aboard Lady Rosé, he continues to live his passion for the sea… in all its forms. In the summer, he offers thrilling experiences to visitors aboard his racing catamarans in the magnificent Bay of Chaleurs, in the Gaspé Peninsula. In the winter, he puts his expertise to work for the Canadian Coast Guard as an assistant mechanic aboard powerful icebreakers.
Within the crew, David is affectionately nicknamed “the Swiss Army knife” by the captain. Versatile, resourceful, and possessing a remarkable sense of service, he’s someone you can always count on.
After several years maintaining heavy machinery in the mines of the Canadian Far North, he decided to leave everything behind with his family to fulfill a dream: sailing the Caribbean aboard his catamaran for four years.
An experienced sailor and passionate about watersports, David loves sharing his enthusiasm with guests. Paddleboarding, wakeboarding, windsurfing, snorkeling, or any other water activity quickly becomes a source of enjoyment thanks to his energy, patience, and good humor.
In the kitchen, David is much more than just an assistant: he’s Nini’s true sous-chef. Passionate about gastronomy, he brings his creativity, attention to detail, and personal touch to the preparation of every meal.
